Go on an adventure hanging in the air in the heart of the city: that’s what the Exalto urban acrobatic park will offer you when it opens its doors in May at the Olympic Park’s Esplanade Financière Sun Life! The park will have no less than seven attractions requiring dexterity and agility. And at an affordable price, those attractions will offer you physical thrills, adrenaline rushes… and lots of fun!
The new Exalto Park offer three high-altitude acrobatic attractions on imposing artificial wood and steel structures, a unique concept in the world. These high-altitude outdoor circuits are packed with obstacles and challenges for the whole family and will regale both budding and hard-core athletes. You’ll need to awaken the Tarzan in you to tackle the highest among them – nine metres, which is the equivalent of a two-storey building – with more than 21 obstacles, including a zip line. In addition to two other three meter-high rides, this multi-activity park will also include a junior acrobatic course accessible to children from the age of two as well as two spaces for relaxation and two dining areas.
All the aerial exploits will take place in a very safe environment quipped with a continuous lifeline system which enable riders to stay attached during the entire duration of the ride. This new technology was created by the Urban Koncept company. The infrastructure in Exalto park is environmentally responsible and the promotion of sustainable development has been given importance in its games and attractions.
The first park of its kind in North America, Exalto is an initiative of the French company Groupe Altiplano. The company is the owner of six parks in France under the France Aventures banner as well as a park in Atlanta. The company will be responsible for the design, installation and management of the new amusement park. Altiplano plans to open eight parks in Canada and in the United States in the next five years with an investment of nearly $5 million.
