Using the Olympic Park image

The Olympic Park logo may not be reproduced without prior consent.

Should prior consent not be obtained for the use of such representations, the Legal Affairs Department of the Régie des installations olympiques may take all necessary recourse against the individual, organization, advertiser or advertising agency concerned.

Links to other sites

The RIO site makes available to its users links to other sites created by third parties. The RIO does not manage or control the content of said sites, nor does it and endorse or approve or provide any guarantee whatsoever in respect of the sites accessible from this site. The RIO is not in any way responsible for the content and practices of said sites.

A user or a business may establish hyperlinks from its site to that of the RIO. The RIO requests, however, that it be notified thereof at rio@rio.gouv.qc.ca. The RIO shall under no circumstances, save gross negligence, be held liable for any loss or damages that may be directly or indirectly related to delays inherent in the use of this site, reliability of the data available hereon, inability to use the site, and involuntary infection with a virus at the user's point of entry.

The user promises to indemnify the RIO and hold it harmless for and against all damages, costs and expenses, including reasonable lawyer's fees, relating to any violation of the present conditions committed either by itself or by the users of its account, in connection with the use of this site or the broadcast or communication of any infraction or other elements on this site by itself or by the users of its account.

The RIO reserves the right at any time and at its sole discretion to modify the general conditions of use of its site as established herein. It is incumbent upon the users to take cognizance of any possible changes, without prior notice from the RIO.

The RIO site is published from Québec, Canada. The present agreement is governed by the laws of the province of Québec and by the Canadian laws applicable in said province and must be interpreted in accordance therewith.
