The Lifesaving Society’s Instructor course prepares participants to teach and evaluate basic swim strokes and related skills. Candidates acquire proven teaching methods, a variety of stroke development drills and correction techniques. Current Swim Instructors teach and certify candidates in all levels of the Swim for Life program.
Prerequisite
Must be 15 years old before the last day of the course and hold a Bronze Cross (or higher level) certificate.
This course is offered free of charge, with the support of the lifeguard training subsidy.
