Enjoy winter to the fullest with Miniglace des apprentis patineurs—a natural, mini skating rink designed for young skaters to try their hand at the sport. Located just steps from Viau Metro at the foot of the Montréal Tower, the rink offers some 300 m² of skateable surface and is free every day between 10 a.m. and 9 p.m.
 
The site will include a locker area for putting on skates, as well as skate rentals from Patin Patin—available every weekend from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. ($14.95 for adults, $10.50 for kids, plus tax, e-payment only).

By car

Underground parking P5 located at 3200 Viau street.

By active transportation

Bike access via the cycle paths of Rachel Street, Maisonneuve Park and Bennett Street. Bike racks are available a few meters from the entrance. A Bixi station is located near the Sports Centre entrance.

Public transport

Five minutes walk from Viau metro station, on the green line, and from the 34, 125 and 136 bus stop.

Access for people with reduced mobility

The location is accessible to people with reduced mobility. The sanitary facilities are located in the Sports Centre and are also suitable for people in wheelchairs.
