Félix’s forest

May 31 to September 30, 2025
Esplanade (Pie-IX)
Free access

Félix’s forest: a boreal misting station is so much more than an art installation. It’s also an immersive piece of urban furniture that invites you to enjoy a sensory experience inspired by the boreal forest—where art and ecology meet!

Made from trees and vegetation found in the boreal forest, Félix’s forest will surround you with all the sights, sounds, and refreshing feeling of a tree canopy. Textures and colours have been carefully selected so visitors feel like they’re taking a stroll through the forest.

The misting stations are equipped with small generators powered by human energy. People of all ages are invited to try them out and discover just how important energy, water, and nature are to our survival—and how vital environmental protection is.

Have fun in Félix’s forest on your next visit to the Olympic Park!
