Experience all the magic winter has to offer at Nuit Blanche in the Quartier Olympique!

The Olympic Park and Espace pour la vie are thrilled to invite you to an unforgettable evening under the stars as part of the upcoming Nuit Blanche festivities in Montreal. On March 1st, join us for an enchanting event where winter festivities will be all the rage!

Experience all the magic of the Quartier olympique, with colourful programming that’s full of surprises. Enter a universe of “POP” culture at some of the most iconic locations in the city: the Vert Viau space, the base of the Montréal Tower, the Biodôme, and the Planétarium.

On the program:

Free activities for the whole family in a fairytale setting, with something for everyone to enjoy the great outdoors in winter!

  • A natural, mini skating rink: A natural rink that’s perfect for new skaters to try out the sport in a fun and festive space (weather permitting).
  • A fun and exciting place with games for young and old alike! Come by to meet our Jeux Spin hosts and try your hand at six giant games, all made in Montreal: Tic Tac Dunk, Target, Volley Pong, Fastrak, Putt Luck, and BigPool.
  • Enjoy music throughout the evening thanks to 3DJs, a trio composed of Luc Raymond, Mightykat & Soundshaper.
  • Winter night-sky gazing: The Planétarium will be taking their telescopes outside to observe some of winter’s most iconic constellations, weather permitting. Also at the museum: science-themed events, immersive movies in English and French, and a new exhibit on Hubert Reeves (starting at 8 p.m.).
  • Discover the nocturnal life of animals: The Biodôme will introduce you to animal nightlife in the Laurentian Maple Forest. Featuring indoor and outdoor events where you can learn more about deer, the Boreal Forest, and the animals that make this habitat their home (starting at 8 p.m.).
  • Sculpture presentation: Presented by Les Amis du Biodôme, featuring a live presentation of ice sculptures from 8 p.m. until 10 p.m.

About 3DJs: 

3DJs is a trio of Montreal DJ pioneers: Luc Raymond, Mightykat & Soundshaper. Their signature sound fuses house and Afro with the classics, disco, soul, and funk—enticing people of all ages out onto the dancefloor. Thanks to their creative energy, you’ll be on your feet in a festive, accessible ambiance that’s bursting with joy. Let yourself be taken away!

For the last two years, the trio plays at Robin des Bois in parc La Fontaine two Fridays per month, from 6 to 10 p.m. Hurry—this must-see event is always sold out! They’ve also recently been hosting a Bacon Beats dance brunch at Eaux Douces in the Old Port. This unique concept blends delicious rhythms with gourmet pleasures for a fun time that’s perfect for those who head to bed early but still like to party.

By car

Underground parking P5 located at 3200 Viau street.

By active transportation

Bike access via the cycle paths of Rachel Street, Maisonneuve Park and Bennett Street. Bike racks are available a few meters from the entrance. A Bixi station is located near the Sports Centre entrance.

Public transport

Five minutes walk from Viau metro station, on the green line, and from the 34, 125 and 136 bus stop.

Access for people with reduced mobility

The location is accessible to people with reduced mobility. The sanitary facilities are located in the Sports Centre and are also suitable for people in wheelchairs.
